Sunday afternoon concerts at the Kapiʻolani Park Bandstand have been a tradition for many decades. The "Friends" partner with the Royal Hawaiian Band Music Society in order to sell recordings and memorabilia by alternating Sunday's. Volunteers are always needed and encouraged to assist with this ongoing effort. Help with our new merchandise kiosk, hosting guests, passing out programs, photographers / videographers, and showing your support for the Royal Hawaiian Band.
2015 Dates and Volunteer Sign-ups
Report time to the Kapiʻolani Park Bandstand is 1:00pm. Concert time is 2:00-3:00pm. Post-concert sales, striking the kiosk and storing supplies following the concert usually ends approximately 3:30pm. Come enjoy the great music, see some old friends and meet some new friends, knowing that you will be helping this treasured organization called the Royal Hawaiian Band.
